Certifications & Compliance
The clearances behind every flight
Every mission National Airlines flies is authorized by a credential we earned, audited by a regulator we don’t choose, and held to a standard we don’t get to write. This is the operational record behind the operation.
WHO RELIES ON OUR COMPLIANCE
Compliance is the price of admission. We pay it daily.
Every industry has its standards. Defense, aerospace, pharma, and federal work raise the bar higher than most. These are the operators who count on our credentials to clear the way.
Aerospace manufacturers and defense primes
Oversized assemblies, engines, and high-value components on project timelines that leave no room to wait.
Defense and federal agencies
Missions require ITAR-cleared aircraft, CRAF participation, CARB certification, and a chain of custody that holds from manifest to final delivery.
Pharma and life sciences companies
Temperature-sensitive biologics, vaccines, and clinical materials under cold-chain integrity protocols audited by IATA.
Energy, industrial, and high-tech
Hazmat, lithium batteries, and dangerous goods that need certified handling and Hazmat Class 9 authorization end-to-end.
VIP and entertainment
Passenger charters flown to the full Part 121 standard that governs every National flight, with manifests and movements handled under standard NDA practice.
Charter brokers and partners
Operators who need an airline whose compliance posture matches the standards they’ve already committed to their own clients.

HOW WE OPERATE
We work to exceed the standards we don’t get to write
Every flight, every load, every quote is built around a regulatory floor and a senior team that treats the floor as the starting point, not the standard.

WHO RELIES ON OUR COMPLIANCE
The clearances behind every flight
Every mission National Airlines flies is authorized by a credential we earned, audited by a regulator we don’t choose, and held to a standard we don’t get to write. This is the operational record behind the operation.
Trained, not just titled
Pilots, crew, dispatchers, and loadmasters train against the credentials we hold. CRAF protocols, IATA Dangerous Goods, CEIV Pharma cold-chain handling, and the ITAR and DDTC registration that clears National to carry controlled defense articles and technical data.
Documented before the audit shows up
Every flight generates the records our customers, regulators, and federal partners need. The paperwork is ready before the auditor asks for it. Traceability holds from first quote to final landing.
Tested by the work itself
Federal contracts, defense missions, and aerospace primes hold us to standards more rigorous than the regulators require. We’ve earned those relationships and held them across decades of operation. Our toughest auditors are the customers who keep flying with us.
Ahead of the rules
Regulations don’t sit still. Neither do we. Every change to FAA, IATA, ITAR, and federal security standards is tracked, tested, and trained into the operation before it takes effect.
Cleared to fly farther
ETOPS 180 authorization lets National’s twin-engine widebody fleet fly up to 180 minutes from the nearest alternate, turning long transoceanic detours into direct routes.

FAA Part 121 License
The federal operating certificate that holds us to the highest tier of FAA oversight, governing maintenance, training, dispatch, and operational control.

Civil Reserve Air Fleet (CRAF)
CRAF is a standing commitment to the U.S. Department of Defense. It puts National’s aircraft in reserve for military airlift in a national emergency, a status held by only a handful of U.S. carriers.

Commercial Airlift Review Board (CARB)
CARB is the approval that clears National to carry Department of Defense personnel and high-priority federal cargo. It is continuous and exacting, extended only to operators whose record earns it.

OUR CERTIFICATIONS
Every credential. Every layer. Every flight.
Operational safety
Audited by the people whose job is finding problems.

Safety Management System (SMS)
National’s Safety Management System is FAA-approved and built into daily operations. Senior management logs, reviews, and acts on every incident, near miss, and audit finding.

IOSA Registration (IATA)
IOSA registration is the global benchmark for operational safety auditing. Independent IATA-approved auditors verify it on a fixed cycle, confirming National holds the standard the world’s leading airlines are measured against.

IATA CEIV Lithium Batteries
National holds Center of Excellence certification for lithium batteries and high-energy cargo, the standard the volume and specificity of aerospace, defense, and high-tech shipments demand.

Hazmat / Dangerous Goods
National carries certification across all nine dangerous goods classes, flammables and corrosives through Class 9. Few operators clear the bar to fly the same freight.

IATA CEIV Pharma
National holds Center of Excellence certification for pharmaceutical logistics, meeting the cold-chain integrity standards that biologics, vaccines, and temperature-sensitive medical shipments require.

IATA CEIV Fresh / Perishables
CEIV Fresh certification governs how National moves perishables, protecting cold chain and food safety across every leg of the journey.

IATA CEIV Live Animals
CEIV Live Animals sets the international standard for moving livestock, exotic species, and welfare-critical animals, covering temperature, ventilation, handling, and documentation. National meets it in full under IATA LAR.
